Corrections, disputes, and removals
Ontario Junk Removal Directory pulls listings from public business data and scores each business by analyzing Google reviews against a single, fixed rubric applied uniformly across the directory. All listings are free to create and maintain. Paying the directory does not change your score, your ranking, or anything else on your profile. This page explains how to correct factual information, dispute a score or review summary, request removal, and what to expect in response. See scoring method for the full scoring rubric.
How corrections work
Corrections apply to factual fields: business name, street address, phone number, website, opening hours, and service categories. To request a correction, provide the accurate information along with proof such as a link to your Google Business Profile, your website, or another public record. Once verified and applied, a correction stays in place through all future data refreshes.
How disputes work
We do not hand-edit scores for any business, so we cannot raise yours on request. What we can do is fix bad data. If the wrong Google profile was matched to your business, reviews were credited to you that are not yours, or the review summary gets the facts wrong, we will verify against the source and regenerate your listing.
How removals work
We remove listings for businesses that are permanently closed, duplicate entries for the same business, or listings that fall outside the directory's scope. Our automated re-verification runs monthly and catches permanently closed businesses on its own. Accurate listings that are in scope may be declined for removal, and you will receive a clear explanation of why.

Response times
Every request receives an acknowledgment within 5 business days. Removal requests that are approved are actioned within 7 days. Denied requests include the reason.
